Social League

Hearty congratulations to all who participated in the first round of
the All-new Super-dooper Social League, results will be posted soon. In
the meantime, here is a quick update for the second round.

Round 2 Fixtures:

1: Tuesday 29 July at 5.30pm
2: Tuesday 5 August at 5.30pm
3: FRIDAY 15 August at 5.30pm, followed by Prize-giving Dinner Party
(all members and their families welcome, food provided, cash bar)

Team Changes:
Some players have had to withdraw and we’ve got some new ones in their
place. This means we will have to re-shuffle the teams a bit and, now
we have a better idea of everybody’s level, we hope to able to make the
matches more even. We will announce and publish the new teams soon.

Introduction to Squash Rules and Refereeing

On Thursday 24 July at 6.30 (in place of training) we will hold a short
lecture and demonstration that will introduce you to the rules of lets,
strokes and how to score a squash match. All members are welcome to
attend and those folk entering the Namibian Closed in Windhoek are
especially encouraged. Please let me know BY WAY OF RETURN EMAIL if you
are going to attend.
